Something or someone bad must have happened to these two, creators of Jolly Bear and Fun Coconut Summer Special 2, at some point in his life and the comics world is a richer place because of it. Their dark and very dry sense of humour is used to very good effect in this b&w mini with a colour cover. What that bad thing was is open for debate but no one should be giving them any therapy if they keep making stuff like this. 
Jolly Bear picks up a copy of Showgirls on video and gives it to Fun Coconut as a present, which Fun Coconut decides to watch for a few weeks while Jolly Bear goes missing. Reluctantly, Fun Coconut goes looking for him and with no help from a hooker and a bench full of special brew supping tramps, he gives up and goes back to Showgirls. Upon his return, Jolly Bear recounts his adventures in the style of old Rupert the Bear type stuff, but with added false imprisonment and cannibalism, maintaining his inane grin throughout.
Clare said ‘eeuuggh’ and comedy shuddered when she read it, which is endorsement enough for some.
